Plus tôt dans sa carrière, Philip a travaillé chez CIBC Asset Management et à la Banque Nationale. Philip est titulaire des certifications CFA et FRM. Il a obtenu un baccalauréat en commerce à l'Université Concordia et un certificat d'études supérieures à l'Université McGill.
